Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the personnel management of the Abitibi region

  • Monitor local business opportunities and liaise with stakeholders as required

Qualifications:

  • University degree or college diploma in mechanical, industrial, electrical or civil engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience, experience with a consulting engineering firm an asset
  • Knowledge of the mining and metals sector
  • Significant network of contacts in the mining and metals sector
  • Experience with P&L responsibilities
  • Licenced Professional Engineer
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, strategic vision, business acumen
  • Expertise in team management and mobilizing leadership
  • Expertise in business development and operations management
  • Proactivity, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure
  • Recognized expertise in engineering project management and relevant experience in construction, planning and estimating
  • Strong organizational skills, rigor, and judgment
  • Acts ethically and demonstrates a high capacity for collaboration
