About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Happy Motel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our motel's physical plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the motel's buildings and grounds are in good condition, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Appliance Repair: Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Task Management: Prioritize and manage tasks to ensure that all maintenance work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Motel environment.
