Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Le Jardin des Champions (JDC). As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of our childcare programs, ensuring the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote children's growth and well-being.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe environment.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers and provide guidance and support.
  • Communicate with parents about children's progress and needs.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote children's development.
  • Lead activities, such as storytelling, singing, and outings, to engage children and promote learning.
  • Order supplies and equipment to ensure a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Encourage children's creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
