About the Opportunity
This role is crucial for supporting the U.S. Risk Governance and Reporting team in establishing robust governance protocols for GRM's comprehensive suite of risk policies. This includes frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, and standing orders. The scope encompasses both change-the-bank and run-the-bank activities related to policy governance, adoption, effectiveness, and the promotion of best practices across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to identify risk exposures and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing policies and procedures to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on risk management principles and policy implementation.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk governance programs and initiatives.
What You Bring
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
