Baker Tilly is seeking a highly skilled Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager to join our tax practice in Toronto or Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on transfer pricing strategies, compliance, and risk management to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer Pricing Strategy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies that align with organizational objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Transfer Pricing Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation to ensure adherence to regulations and provide support to clients in responding to transfer pricing inquiries and audits.
- Intercompany Transactions Analysis: Evaluate intercompany transactions, including tangible goods, services, and financing arrangements, and support benchmarking analyses and economic studies to inform transfer pricing methodologies and pricing decisions.
- Risk Management: Identify transfer pricing risks associated with intercompany transactions and propose mitigation strategies, and assist in implementing advance pricing agreements (APAs) and other dispute resolution mechanisms to minimize risks.
- Client Advisory: Support multinational clients in transfer pricing matters, collaborating with cross-functional teams under managerial guidance, and communicate transfer pricing concepts and recommendations to clients in a clear and tailored manner.
