Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Implementation Team, responsible for onboarding new clients and conducting accounting and other fintech software conversions and implementations
  • Implementing cloud-based accounting systems and integrated management systems/apps
  • Working with clients to optimize workflows and processes for their business
  • Managing multiple projects across the team to ensure they are completed to a high standard, on time and on budget
  • Training clients on software and workflows
  • Training new team members on software and workflows
  • Refining and designing beautiful financial models, and restructuring data for optimized reporting and analysis
  • Supporting the learning and development of two direct reports
  • Providing support to other accountants across the organization with data, systems, and workflow improvements on their ongoing client files
  • Conducting assessments for potential clients, evaluating the quality of the bookkeeping and results, as well as providing recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience with 2+ years in public practice
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Working towards or have completed your CPA Designation
  • Tech Savvy (Experience using QuickBooks Online or Xero an asset)
  • Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting
  • Prior experience with software implementation projects - determining business needs, understanding functional requirements details, understanding how to work with data
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

For our CPA candidates, we do not have a pre-approved program due to the nature of the complexity of our roles; however, you would have access to a CPA mentor within the firm and all previous CPA Candidates were successful with completing the higher level competency requirements for the experience report route with ease.
