The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a major data transformation initiative, building a consolidated modern data lake house platform using big data technologies. This role requires a combination of skills across business analysis, FX domain expertise, big data technical architecture, project management, people management, stakeholder management, and driving consumer adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a scalable and efficient data lake house platform using big data technologies.
  • Coordinate with consuming application teams and end consumers to migrate them to the new platform.
  • Apply business strategy while driving technology strategy, balancing short-term and long-term needs.
  • Engage an end-to-end approach by connecting all the pieces of data and deliver a streamlined model.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive information management solutions and end-to-end development life-cycle support and SDLC processes.
  • An in-depth understanding of Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with two or more of the following areas: Python, Spark, Scala, Hadoop, Data Bricks, Snowflake, Shell, Perl, Core Java, Impala, Hive, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Established experience delivering information management solutions to large numbers of end users.
  • Experience in Financial Services domain, specifically in FX Trading is strongly preferred.
