Job Title: Senior Java Developer

GalaxE is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve our software solutions.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure that software meets quality and testing standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on design patterns, architecture, and scalability.
  • Experience with big data tools, including Hadoop, HDFS, ADLS, ADF, Spark, and Dremio.
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Cassandra.
  • Experience designing production-grade, scalable applications and microservices.
  • Experience working on Agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Python and Scala.
  • 5+ years of experience in Capital Markets.
  • Experience with Kafka and Databricks.
  • Focus on back-end development.
Education:
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
