Java Developer - SpringBoot, Spark, HBase

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our development team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for building out the platform and developing aggregation services, rules engines, and analytics services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality Java applications using SpringBoot, Spark, and HBase.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure seamless integration and testing.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience with Java 1.8.
  • 5+ years of experience with Springboot.
  • 2+ years of experience with microservices.
  • Proficiency in Eclipse/IntelliJ.
  • Experience with Gradle.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Spark 2.0 and HBase.
  • Azure cloud experience.
  • Previous experience in the Banking or Financial Industry.
  • Capital market experience.
