Transportation Planning and Policy Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Transportation Planning and Policy to join our team at Simcoe Geoscience Limited.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our transportation planning and policy initiatives, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives. This role will involve strategic planning, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement transportation planning and policy strategies to support our business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective policy implementation and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members on transportation planning and policy matters.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in transportation planning and policy.
- Represent our organization in external forums and meetings related to transportation planning and policy.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., transportation planning, urban planning, public policy).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation planning and policy, with a strong background in policy development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
