Role Overview:
The Infrastructure Engineering team at EvenUp is in search of a skilled Engineer to spearhead the development and enhancement of our systems and workflows. This position is pivotal in delivering value to our clients and ensuring that personal injury victims obtain the compensation they rightfully deserve. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about understanding user requirements and translating them into engaging user interfaces for AI-generated document creation. As a member of our team, you will be at the forefront of innovations that significantly impact our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus 75% on system design and infrastructure contributions, starting with delivering solutions promptly.
- Dedicate 25% to stakeholder collaboration and mentoring through various initiatives.
- Adopt a self-starter approach by taking product concepts and executing features from inception to completion.
- Work collaboratively to scale our technology stack in response to our rapidly expanding user base.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering within cloud-native environments.
- A genuine interest in promoting fairness in the world, as our compensation is tied to helping injured victims and their legal representatives.
- Familiarity with relevant technology stacks is advantageous (e.g., AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Cloud Security, Monitoring, Logging, and MLOPS).
- Appreciation for high-quality, code-based infrastructure that is straightforward, comprehensible, and reusable.
- Ability to navigate technical challenges and deliver solutions that align with your estimates.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts in clear and actionable terms.
- A quick learner eager to engage in cross-functional collaboration with diverse teams.
- Enjoyment in working within cross-functional teams to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with monitoring tools and frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or TensorBoard.
- Practical knowledge of data tooling, BI tools, and systems like wandb, DBT, BigQuery, and Elasticsearch.
