Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at J. Mason Contracting Limited. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a focus on safety and quality. You will be working outdoors in various locations, including commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Team player with dependability
