About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Gurmeet Singh Gill. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure a safe and comfortable living space
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to alleviate feelings of loneliness
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure our clients have access to essential items
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to promote healthy eating habits
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a related field is an asset
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, and reliability are essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support to our clients.
