Are you an adept troubleshooter with a dedication to upholding high standards in commercial facilities? Elevated HR Solutions is looking for a Facility Operations Specialist to ensure the effective management of our real estate properties.

As a full-service commercial property management firm, we oversee a diverse portfolio of industrial, office, and retail spaces. We are currently seeking a Facility Operations Specialist to enhance our operations.

In this essential position, you will leverage your technical skills to oversee and maintain building systems, manage contractors, and guarantee adherence to safety standards. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting routine inspections of properties, coordinating necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Preparing detailed monthly inspection reports.
  • Addressing and resolving service requests from tenants, ensuring prompt follow-up.
  • Assisting management in the formulation of annual operating budgets, including the collection of quotes and proposals.
  • Supervising and coordinating contractors and suppliers for property services.
  • Facilitating the preparation of tenders and quotes for maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Documenting incidents and preparing insurance reports as required.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for emergency situations.
  • Enforcing building regulations and policies.
  • Contributing to cost reduction strategies and risk management.
  • Conducting environmental assessments as necessary.
  • Maintaining records for preventative maintenance initiatives.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

To be considered for this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in facility operations.
  • Possession of a 5th Class Power Engineering certificate is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Windows, Word, Excel, and email.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety codes.
  • Experience in project management with strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, along with effective problem-solving abilities.
