Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Facility Operations Manager to lead the operations at our CNES facility located in Saskatchewan. This pivotal role demands a leader adept at managing a diverse workforce and a variety of clients. The Facility Operations Manager will ensure the seamless functioning of daily operations, effective service delivery, and collaborative teamwork among staff to achieve the organization's objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight:
  • Manage the daily operations of the facility, ensuring all departments operate efficiently.
  • Work closely with department leaders (Nursing, Security, Mental Health) to ensure coordinated service delivery.
  • Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures to boost efficiency and service quality.
  • Track and report on essential performance metrics for the facility.
Leadership and Team Development:
  • Provide direction, support, and mentorship to department leaders and staff.
  • Hold regular meetings with department heads to address operational challenges and enhancements.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that encourages collaboration and accountability.
  • Oversee staff training and performance assessments.
Client Care Management:
  • Ensure clients receive top-notch care and support services.
  • Promptly address client concerns and issues.
  • Collaborate with the Mental Health and Addictions Team Lead to meet specific client needs.
  • Implement strategies aimed at enhancing client satisfaction and outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of safety protocols in partnership with the Security Team Lead.
  • Ensure all staff are trained in and comply with health and safety standards.
Financial Oversight:
  • Assist in preparing the facility's budget, monitoring expenses, and managing resources effectively.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service standards.
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts as necessary.
Stakeholder Relations:
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external stakeholders, including community partners and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the organization at community events and meetings as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support the facility's goals.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience, preferably in healthcare or a related sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams within a multidisciplinary setting.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in Saskatchewan.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and provide professional references.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
