About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team at 2408940 Alberta Inc. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital marketing strategies to drive business growth and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Communication Strategies
    • Design and implement comprehensive communication plans to reach target audiences
    • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and consumer behavior
  • Implement Communication Strategies and Programs
    • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and search engine optimization
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging
  • Write Speeches, Presentations, and Press Releases
    • Craft compelling content that resonates with our target audience
    • Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct Surveys and Analyze Data on Buying Habits and Preferences
    • Design and implement surveys to gather insights on consumer behavior
    • Analyze data to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance
  • Prepare Reports, Research Papers, Educational Texts, or Articles
    • Research and write engaging content on various topics related to digital marketing
    • Develop and present reports to stakeholders on campaign performance and industry trends
  • Assist in the Preparation of Brochures, Reports, Newsletters, and Other Materials
    • Collaborate with designers and writers to create visually appealing and informative content
    • Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all materials
  • Initiate and Maintain Contact with the Media
    • Develop and execute media outreach strategies to secure press coverage and interviews
    • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts
  • Conduct Analytical Marketing Studies
    • Design and implement studies to analyze consumer behavior and market trends
    • Develop and present findings to stakeholders
  • Develop Portfolio of Marketing Materials
    • Curate and maintain a portfolio of marketing materials, including campaigns, reports, and presentations
    • Use the portfolio to demonstrate expertise and showcase achievements
  • Design, Conduct, and Analyze Quantitative and Qualitative Research Projects
    • Develop and implement research projects to gather insights on consumer behavior and market trends
    • Analyze data and present findings to stakeholders
  • Conduct Online Marketing, E-commerce, and Website Promotions
    • Develop and execute online marketing campaigns to drive website traffic and sales
    • Collaborate with e-commerce teams to optimize website user experience and conversion rates
  • Develop Marketing Strategies
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive business growth and engagement
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging
  • Maintain and Manage Digital Database
    • Develop and maintain a digital database to store and manage customer information
    • Use the database to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Certifications
    • Google AdWords Certification
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud
    • Experience with digital marketing tools, including social media management, email marketing, and search engine optimization
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and project management skills
