Role Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development
- Design engaging learning activities and authentic assessments that promote active participation and a culture of experiential learning.
- Foster inclusive learning environments and maintain open communication with students regarding their progress and achievements.
- Implement innovative teaching methodologies that reflect best practices in adult education.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance instructional quality and program effectiveness.
- Classroom Management
- Lead a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages respectful expression and idea exchange.
- Deliver comprehensive lesson plans, lectures, assignments, and evaluations, supplemented with additional study materials.
- Assess student performance and facilitate their academic success.
- Address academic integrity issues and liaise with the Academic Chair as necessary.
- Ensure appropriate accommodations are provided for students with disabilities.
- Demonstrate genuine interest in student development.
- Create an optimal learning environment conducive to student engagement.
- Coordinate assessments and classroom activities with fellow faculty members.
- Guide students to institutional resources, including counseling, academic advising, and tutoring services.
- Provide continuous support and mentorship to learners.

Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in the administrative professional domain, including office procedures and practices.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficient in technology, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite and other industry-standard software.
- Strong digital literacy skills.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, along with well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A collaborative mindset, thriving in team-oriented environments.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred, with post-secondary teaching experience considered an asset.
- A relevant undergraduate diploma or degree is required; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be evaluated.
