We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Controls Systems Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and programming HVAC control systems to meet the intent of project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and program HVAC control systems using established standards and best practices.
  • Provide detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Respond to basic warranty calls and troubleshoot problems with subcontractors and other trades.
  • Coordinate the creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
  • Assist in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers.
  • Prepare proper documentation and/or manuals for system operation.
  • Keep management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.

Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in HVAC controls hardware and software applications.
  • Minimum of three years of experience with installing and/or commissioning control systems.
  • Experience in control systems design and mechanical, electrical, and control systems knowledge.
  • Demonstrated advanced computer skills and technical aptitude.
  • This is an onsite position, and the candidate will need to work in a branch.
