We are seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Administrator to join our team at Houle Electric Limited. As a key member of our IT Department, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our financial systems, including Oracle JDE ERP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Systems Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise for assigned financial systems, including ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and implementation of new modules or system replacements.
- Implementation and Support: Complete assigned elements of the systems implementation cycle, including envisioning, defining user requirements, preparing technical specifications, building prototypes, performing system tests, and preparing relevant documentation and training material.
- Integration and Development: Develop and support the required integration with other data sources and systems, and monitor vendor and user requested enhancements and/or patches.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Maintain and support the financial and business environment, including troubleshooting systems issues, testing, and implementing program fixes and enhancements integrations with other systems, creating/updating all relevant documentation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with peers in IT and business units, and external parties to provide support for applications maintenance, modification, and enhancements as required through problem solving, testing, reports development, and documentation.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience in a mid to large enterprise environment, providing JD Edwards and/or other financial applications and business systems implementation, configuration, integration, upgrades, and support.
- Education: Two-year full-time Diploma in Information Technology or another acceptable field from a recognized post-secondary educational institution.
- Skills: Hands-on technical experience working with financial systems, experience configuring and maintaining security, experience developing integrations with other systems, experience with project management tools (Jira), and demonstrated experience with JDE CNC activities such as package build and deployment, OMW, ASU/ESU.
- Soft Skills: Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, able to foster positive productive professional relationships, sound judgment, and very strong attention to detail.
