Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our digital health solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC) to ensure seamless product development.
  • Create and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and design.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects and issues.
  • Generate reports on test execution and defects to inform product development decisions.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior QA engineers to ensure consistent quality standards.
  • Work closely with QA Manager, UI/UX designers, and technical teams to effectively test and validate applications.
  • Review and analyze acceptance criteria to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure product stability and quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in software QA testing with a strong background in testing websites and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar applications.
  • Experience with test management tools such as Zephyr, Polarion, and other ALM systems.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodology in a CI/CD environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location: Vancouver. This is an in-office opportunity only. No remote work allowed. Full-time/permanent position.
