We're building the future of financial services at Brex Inc., and we're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled software engineer to design and develop innovative data-driven systems that manage risk at scale. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work closely with our data scientists to integrate models into production and ensure the integrity of sensitive data.

You'll be responsible for developing low-latency decision systems for assessing risk during customer onboarding, payments, authentication, and in-app. You'll also build in-product levers that enhance our decisioning systems while striving to make risk management invisible.

Our ideal candidate has a strong fundamental knowledge in machine learning theory or systems, experience building and designing scalable decisioning systems, and proficiency in backend programming languages such as Kotlin and Python.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of professional experience in a software engineering role or equivalent experience
  • Strong fundamental knowledge in machine learning theory or systems
  • Experience building and designing scalable decisioning systems
  • Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Kotlin and Python
  • Ability to work in office 2 days per week on Wednesday and Thursday
