Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs
  • Educate clients on safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities
  • Support return-to-work programs and provide job coaching and accommodation recommendations
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders
  • Participate in case conferences and case management
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students (as preferred)
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs
Requirements:
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as an OT (preferred)
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long term disability, and WSIB referrals (strong asset)
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation (strong asset)
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
