About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Laborer to join our team at Special Touch Landscaping. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with various landscaping tasks, including construction, plant care, and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our experienced team to build and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and hardscapes.
  • Tie and Secure Plants: Ensure plants are properly secured and cared for to prevent damage and promote healthy growth.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the appearance and health of our landscapes by removing weeds, pruning trees and shrubs, and trimming plants.
  • Cut Grass: Maintain our lawns to the highest standards, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Keep our work areas clean and free of debris, promoting a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Assist with the installation of new lawns, ensuring a smooth and even surface.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Help to create beautiful and vibrant landscapes by planting a variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Assist with the application of fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth and development.
  • Dig Cemetery Graves: Assist with the excavation of graves in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure our equipment is in good working order, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Assist with the care and maintenance of our landscapes, including watering and pruning plants.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Assist with the operation and maintenance of our equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
  • Tree Removal: Assist with the safe removal of trees and branches, ensuring a safe working environment.
