Geomatics Project Manager Job Description

Tulloch Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Geomatics Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Geomatics team, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from bidding and proposal preparation to project setup, logistics, resource and technical planning, and execution.
  • Provide project updates to Business Unit Directors and General Managers.
  • Oversee project management and professional oversight of cadastral surveys.
  • Supervise field crews and drafting staff in the creation of survey deliverables.
  • Prepare survey reports, drafting and DTM processing reports, and control survey reports.
  • Engage with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to determine and fulfill project goals and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development and growth initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Geomatics project management or a related role.
  • 5+ years of professional cadastral surveying experience, preferably in the Energy market.
  • Strong understanding of land surveying equipment and techniques.
  • Aptitude for business development and independent judgment.
  • Experience with total station and GPS equipment, LIDAR data, and CAD platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and travel for site inspections.
