DUTIES

The successful candidate will report to the Manager of Student Recruitment and will play a vital role in executing the institution's student recruitment and admission strategies as outlined in the strategic plan. Responsibilities will include:

  1. Establishing and nurturing relationships with prospective and newly admitted students, as well as key stakeholders;
  2. Designing, implementing, and assessing recruitment initiatives;
  3. Creating and delivering presentations about the University to diverse audiences at local, national, and international levels;
  4. Engaging with newly admitted students during the post-offer admission phase to facilitate their registration and transition to university life;
  5. Collaborating closely with various departments within the University;
  6. Performing additional related tasks as necessary.

This role necessitates extensive travel, public engagements, and may involve international travel, along with some physical demands.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of experience working with students in a post-secondary environment, particularly in student support services, recruitment, and admissions. A completed undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of experience and training is required. Strong organizational, communication, planning, leadership, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are essential. Familiarity with the post-secondary education landscape is necessary, with knowledge of Memorial University programs considered advantageous. A valid Class 5 driver's license issued by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and a valid passport are required.

SALARY

$54,770 - $82,150 per annum (Management and Professional)
