We are seeking a skilled Parts Person to assist customers in locating required parts, provide pricing, and complete online parts orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Unload, receive, and store incoming parts and materials in the warehouse and yard
- Locate parts and materials, and ship to customers and other branches
- Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
- Place inventory stock orders
- Make inventory and bin adjustments
- Accurately document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information
- Operate parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
- Effective customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak seasons, including shift work, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Strong communication skills with ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and technical procedures
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers, managers, customers, and the general public
- Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills
- Previous experience in the parts industry
- Journeyperson Certification considered an asset
- Experience working in the Heavy Duty Truck, fabrication, and/or manufacturing industry considered an asset
