Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-time Sales Associate to join our team at Canadian Tire - Penticton, BC (Store 351). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including features, benefits, and applications, to effectively communicate with customers and make informed sales recommendations.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist with store maintenance tasks, such as stocking shelves, merchandising, and general housekeeping, to ensure a clean and organized store environment.
  • Operations: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure efficient store operations.
Requirements
  • Basic Math and Typing Skills: Possess basic math and typing skills to accurately process transactions and maintain inventory levels.
  • Customer Service Experience: Have previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customers and tasks simultaneously.
