Job Description

**Job Title:** Cybersecurity Lead

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Lead to join our team at Onico Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our client's computer, network, and cyber security.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Threat Identification and Response:**
    • Identify security threats from normal traffic throughout the day
    • Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolutions
  • **Security Solutions and Implementation:**
    • Defend corporate IT infrastructure against unauthorized access, modification, destruction, and DDoS attacks
    • Implement, configure, and monitor firewall equipment
    • Proactively implement industry best practices on security
    • Perform vulnerability and network scanning assessments
  • **Security Policies and Procedures:**
    • Define, implement, maintain, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
    • Conduct annual security awareness training
    • Regularly review and update security procedures
    • Continuously improve security procedures
  • **Security Audits and Compliance:**
    • Conduct internal and external security audits, including CSAE 3416 SOC II and customer security questionnaires
    • Lead role in security audits around finance
    • Lead role in annual SOC II audits
    • Lead role in conducting customer security questionnaires and audits
  • **Training and Knowledge Transfer:**
    • Train self and others on systems and application securities
    • Transfer knowledge to other IT staff for ongoing improvement

**Qualifications:**

  • 5 years of relevant experience in systems security
  • Hands-on experience managing, supporting, and configuring Cisco firewalls
  • Working knowledge of various security technologies, including End Point Protection, Malware Protection, Patch Management, URL filtering, Identity and Access management (IAM), etc.
  • Proven ability to conduct research into Information Security issues and security products
  • CCNA certification (as a minimum)
  • CISSP
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated; able to work with minimal supervision
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment

**Compensation:** This is a permanent position with an annual salary of $100,000.00 – $110,000.00.
