Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Homecare Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in the comfort of patients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments in patients' homes, specialty clinics, and physician partnership clinics.
  • Assess and monitor patients' conditions, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on medication management, treatment plans, and healthy living practices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional practice and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses and a valid CPR certificate.
  • 1 year of experience in IV initiation and a strong background in critical care, emergency, acute care, or homecare settings.
  • Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution and strong business acumen are assets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel within a designated geographical area and maintain a valid, non-expired driver's license and insurance coverage.
