Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at CB Canada as a Chef de Partie-CNB Full-time. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Item Production: Prepare, pre-cook, cook, and present menu items in a timely fashion, adhering to standardized recipes and company standards.
  • Inventory Management: Submit food product requirements for purchasing, receive stock from receiving operations, label, date, store, and rotate in appropriate storage areas.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean kitchen equipment after use according to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments, develop and cultivate strong working relationships with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Education and Qualifications: High School Diploma; Culinary education an asset; Minimum 3 years of progressive culinary experience; Red Seal certification through ITA or current enrollment in the program an asset; Food Safety Certification.
Work Environment Considerations
  • Physical Demands: Regular kitchen environment, standing and walking for long periods of time, major exposure to heat, cold, steam, noise, odors, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, some exposure to fumes, smoke, chemicals, risk of minor cuts and burns, non-traditional work hours.
