Fashion Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fashion Design Specialist to join our team at East End Tailoring Ltd. as an Apparel Design Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and production of our clothing lines, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and style.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Lead the design and development of new clothing lines, including conceptualization, sketching, and prototyping.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of designers, pattern makers, and production staff to ensure that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our quality and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and preferences, and to develop clothing lines that meet those needs.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in fashion design or a related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of fashion design principles, including color theory, texture, and pattern making. Excellent communication and project management skills.
This is a fast-paced environment, and you will be required to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will also be required to work in a team environment, and to be able to distinguish between colors.

The work language is English, and the work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
