Clothing Designer Job Description

East End Tailoring Ltd. is seeking a skilled Clothing Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish clothing designs that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor junior designers and production staff to ensure high-quality designs and timely delivery.
  • Develop and implement design concepts, including color palettes, fabrics, and patterns, to create visually appealing and functional clothing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and sales, to ensure design alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, technologies, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in fashion design or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
