About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Paul's Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our pastry menu, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement new pastry menu items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor our pastry team, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of pastry supplies, ensuring we have the necessary ingredients and materials to meet our menu demands.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure our pastry products meet our high standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns, and ensuring our pastry products meet their expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pastry chef role
  • Skills: Excellent pastry skills, leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
