Job Overview

We are seeking a Project Coordinator specializing in People and Culture at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH).

Vancouver Coastal Health is in search of a Project Coordinator to become a vital part of the Strategy Deployment, People and Culture Team.

Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator, People and Culture Strategy include:

Deliver analytical support for the financial and technical assessment, evaluation, and upkeep of project documentation, management tools, and executive reports for specific VCH projects, facilitating effective risk management. Conduct analysis and documentation of organizational projects to ensure alignment with both organization-wide and departmental goals. Foster supportive and mutually beneficial relationships among various internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with project teams and end-user departments on both capital and operational initiatives. Collect information and assess interdependencies and associated risks for respective projects and the organization through engagement with external consultants and other health authorities.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or a related field pertinent to the specific projects. A minimum of three (3) years of recent, relevant experience in financial analysis and planning within a large, complex service organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Demonstrated experience in three key areas: financial analysis, project planning/management, and technical expertise related to specific projects.

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth technical expertise, project/process management, financial analytical capabilities, and business acumen. Ability to effectively respond to stakeholder needs while being mindful of the impact of decisions and actions on the organization and its stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with facilitation abilities to work efficiently in team settings and with diverse stakeholders. Capacity to identify issues and develop and analyze solutions to resolve challenges. Proven proficiency in advanced word processing, graphics presentation, and spreadsheet applications for report and presentation preparation. Results-driven in a high-pressure environment with multiple critical timelines. Physical capability to perform the duties associated with the position.
