We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our Global IT Procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strategic sourcing of software and SaaS contracts, ensuring optimal pricing, timing, and quality for our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for software and SaaS contracts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to negotiate and manage contracts.
- Conduct market analysis, demand management, and forecasting to inform procurement decisions.
- Prepare and execute contracts in collaboration with the legal department.
- Conduct spend analysis to identify optimization opportunities.
- Support the development of sourcing and supplier strategies.
- Work closely with the Global IT Procurement team to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Deliver high-quality procurement results and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Sciences, or equivalent experience.
- 2-3+ years of relevant procurement experience with software and SaaS procurement or proven track record in related roles.
- Experience leading strategic sourcing projects in an international environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- Proficiency in contract terminology and expertise in developing alternative clauses.
- Commercial mindset and target-oriented approach.
- Strong team player with ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills, confident manner, and absolute integrity.
