Network Security QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security QA Engineer to join our team at TEEMA - Litchfield Park. This is a 9-month contract position with the potential for a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive testing of network security products, including configuration and testing of network devices.
- Develop, design, and maintain manual and automated testing suites.
- Conduct end-to-end, integration, and defect testing to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Identify and report software defects to improve product quality.
- Collaborate with product teams, developers, and QA professionals to ensure thorough testing processes.
- Translate system specifications into test cases and maintain accurate documentation.
- 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on network and endpoint security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as DNS, SMTP, SNMP, DHCP, and 802.1x.
- Experience with network security products, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and SIEM.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Python, SQL, and database management; familiarity with Java is a plus.
- Experience with network devices from Cisco, Juniper, or HPE is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for software and network issues.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM is recommended.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Competitive hourly wage of $60-$65.
- A hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work.
- Potential for conversion to a full-time position after the contract.
