Job Title: Multimedia Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Specialist to join our team at the York Region District School Board. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for developing and producing high-quality multimedia content for various purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce multimedia content, including audio, video, and graphic arts, for use in educational settings.
  • Collaborate with project leads and media specialists to create engaging and informative multimedia materials.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on multimedia production software and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in multimedia production and apply this knowledge to improve our content and services.
Requirements:
  • Secondary school graduation diploma with two years of post-secondary education in media production or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of related work experience in multimedia production.
  • Strong working knowledge of audio and video capture and production software, including Adobe Creative Suites and Final Cut Studio.
  • Valid driver's license (G Class).
