We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Pacificwest Dental Group. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, reports, and other documents
    • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
    • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
    • Perform data entry and maintain accurate and reliable data
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service and communication to patients, staff, and external partners
    • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Office Operations
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
    • Ensure the efficient use of office resources and supplies
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and office operations
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of office policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role, or equivalent experience
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and detail-oriented
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Organized and able to prioritize tasks
    • Reliable and able to maintain confidentiality
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The work language is English.
