Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electric Household Appliance Installer to join our team at Atlantic George Limited. As an Electric Household Appliance Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining household appliances in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain household appliances, ensuring they are properly connected and functioning correctly.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand installation requirements.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, and childcare.
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and offer mentorship programs.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth, Indigenous workers, Veterans, and mature workers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical appliance installation.
  • Professionalism in customer service.
