About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at The Arbor Victorian Living LTD. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' electrical appliances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic tests using electrical test equipment to identify faults and issues with appliances.
  • Plan and optimize service routes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Use schematic drawings and product manuals to repair and replace faulty components.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical appliances and components, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, advising customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, using shop equipment and specialized diagnostic tools to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in appliance repair or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods and performing tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
