Catering Supervisor Job Description

Brioche Urban Baking Ltd is seeking a skilled Catering Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks effectively to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
