Ignite Talent Solutions is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team in providing exceptional care within senior living facilities. We offer a competitive remuneration package and require candidates to hold a valid certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario, demonstrating their standing in the profession.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement effective nursing practices and deliver care in alignment with established policies, physician directives, and individualized resident care plans.
- Assess resident needs and create, as well as uphold, suitable care strategies.
- Facilitate a smooth and prompt admission process for new residents.
- Oversee the management, security, and proper handling of medications and controlled substances, adhering to protocols during all assigned shifts.
- Maintain a diploma in Practical Nursing and current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Exhibit comprehensive nursing knowledge in geriatric care and healthcare administration.
- Familiarize oneself with the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, relevant sections of the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, and Food & Drug Act.
