Performance Officer

Job Summary:
The District of North Vancouver is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Corporate Officer to support the Director, Legislative Services + Corporate Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional services to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Director, including preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
- Oversee local government systems, records management, and electoral processes.
- Supervise and mentor staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with municipal regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational objectives.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree with a minimum of five (5) years related experience within a local government setting.
- Completed municipal administrations courses leading to a Certificate in Local Government Statutory Administration granted by the Board of Examiners and the Certified Municipal Clerk designation granted by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
- Technical, administrative, and supervisory skills, including experience overseeing local government systems, records management, and electoral processes.
