Aquatics Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatics Director to lead our aquatic programs and services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing aquatic programs, supervising staff, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our members.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement aquatic programs, including swim lessons, aquafit classes, and water safety initiatives.
- Supervise and manage aquatic staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including WHMIS training and pool operator certification.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff on aquatic programs, services, and policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of aquatic programs and services.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
- Diploma or degree in Recreation Leadership, Kinesiology, or related field.
- Minimum of five years experience in aquatic leadership, including swim instruction, lifeguarding, and program management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of aquatic programs, services, and policies, including WHMIS and pool operator certification.
