Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Hire and manage food service staff.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in food service management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week.
