About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Burnaby Digital Media Inc. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for bringing our clients' visions to life through stunning visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Graphic Design or Fine Arts.
    • Have at least 1 year of experience in the field, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Design and Development
    • Adapt existing illustrations to meet client needs.
    • Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions, including multimedia, interactive, and digital products, as well as television advertising and productions.
    • Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations, ensuring they meet their communications needs.
    • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations.
    • Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work Environment
    • Work a standard 37.5 hours per week.
    • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles.
