Job Opportunity: Psychology Department Student Council

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated students to join our team as Psychology Department Student Council members. As a member of the council, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and social experience of undergraduate students in the Psychology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in organizing and executing academic, social, and networking events to foster community within the department.
  • Committee Leadership: Collaborate with faculty, students, and external organizations to create and support programs that address systemic barriers and foster an inclusive community.
  • Communication and Outreach: Serve as the voice of students in their respective years, gathering feedback and communicating concerns to the DSC.
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including income, expenses, and budgeting.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement outreach initiatives to connect the Chemistry department with the broader community.
  • Content Creation: Design visual content for promotional materials, social media, and the department's website, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Mental Health Initiatives: Develop and implement programs and events focused on promoting mental health and wellness within the department.
