- Co-Presidents for Employment Relations DSC (2)
The Co-President of the Department Student Council serves as a representative for the student body within their department. This role involves leading a committee of undergraduate students tasked with organizing and executing events that cater specifically to their department's needs. The Co-President will report to the Academics Commissioner.
Application Process
Applications will be accepted until a suitable candidate pool is formed. The closing date will be established based on the quality and quantity of applications received.
Commitment and Compensation
This position entails an 8-month commitment. If applicable, any honorarium will be disbursed in accordance with the Human Resources Honoraria Policy.
Responsibilities and Time Commitment
- Represent and advocate for student interests within the department
- Plan, promote, and implement academic and social events for the department
- Attend and prepare for all Arts and Science Faculty Board meetings
- Oversee the administration of USAT evaluations
- Develop and submit a budget, strategic plan, and constitution to the Academics Commissioner
- Engage in monthly DSC Assembly meetings
- Participate in monthly discussions with the Academics Commissioner or Deputy Academics Commissioner
- Adhere to all guidelines outlined in the DSC Charter
