About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Manager to join our team at Ewart Angus Homes in Toronto, Ontario. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential rental building.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting rents on a timely basis
- Showing and selling suites to prospective tenants
- Conducting market surveys and holding open houses
- Maintaining the physical condition of the building and surrounding property
- Ensuring the complex and grounds are kept clean daily
- Fostering a friendly and professional environment for residents and prospective residents
- Managing and training support staff
- Processing resident applications and negotiating lease renewals
- Coordinating month-end duties and responsibilities
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong customer service and selling skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Management skills to coach, train, and motivate staff
- Cleaning and maintenance skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work some evening and weekends
