About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Discipline Lead in Environmental Infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing technical personnel within the Mechanical Discipline on a project basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality solutions for clients.
  • Provide mechanical expertise for engineering studies and condition assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions, including engineers, architects, technologists, and specialist subconsultants.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and integrate compliance into project design.
  • Interact with regulatory bodies to ensure project design meets regulatory requirements.
  • Lead or assist in proposal preparation, including scope definition and estimating level of effort.
  • Perform site visits during job showings, concept and detailed design, and to support construction activities.
  • Apply engineering fundamentals, including the application and verification of related software tools.
  • Mentor designers and junior engineers to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
